There is just something extra magical about an in-home newborn session, especially when it involves twins. Millie and Maislie welcomed me into their cozy home for the sweetest snuggly morning, and honestly… I’m still smiling about it.
These two were wrapped in the prettiest deep holiday colors — one in a rich red, the other in a soft green — and they melted right into their tiny wicker bed like they had been practicing for days. Twin babies have this incredible way of settling the moment they’re close to each other, and these girls were no exception. Soft breaths, tiny fingers, matching velvet bows… it was truly the dreamiest sight.
And of course, we can’t talk about this session without celebrating big sister Raegan. She tip-toed in with that huge red bow and even bigger heart. She peeked over the side of the bed to check on “her babies” with a sweetness that would make anyone melt. Watching her gently admire her sisters was one of my favorite moments of the whole session.
One of the best parts of photographing newborns at home is the comfort it brings to everyone. The house is warm, the baby snuggles are uninterrupted, and the whole session folds right into the rhythm of real life. Millie and Maislie snoozed contently from start to finish, and Raegan played, cuddled, and explored in between — exactly how an in-home lifestyle newborn session should feel.
