How is it already time for first birthday sessions?
It feels like just yesterday Asher was a tiny newborn curled up in my favorite little spindle bed, and now he's celebrating his first trip around the sun with the sweetest "One Tough Cookie" cake smash.
Watching families return throughout their baby's first year is one of the greatest joys of being a photographer. Getting to see how much these little ones grow while still recognizing the baby I photographed months ago never gets old.
A Sweet Full-Circle Moment
One of my favorite details from Asher's session was tying his first birthday portraits back to his newborn session.
For his milestone portraits, we brought back the same eucalyptus green backdrop and little spindle bed that we used when he was a newborn. Seeing him sitting confidently in the very same setup where he once fit so perfectly curled up was such a beautiful reminder of just how much can change in a single year.
