There’s something so timeless about soft blues, delicate details, and the quiet magic of newborn snuggles—and baby Lainey's session had all of that and more! As a Dalton, GA-based newborn photographer, I often travel to nearby areas, and it was such a joy to make the short trip to Chattanooga, TN to photograph this sweet family.
This session was extra special, featuring one of my all-time favorite wraps—Canadian Waters by Hello Little Props. The soft blue tones were perfect for baby Lainey’s skin and added just the right amount of color and texture to her set. I always say, I love a girl in blue, and Lainey wore it like a dream! 💙
To add a whimsical touch, we incorporated beautiful butterfly accents throughout her session. One of my favorite moments? Lainey’s tiny hands gently holding a delicate butterfly—such a sweet, peaceful detail that perfectly captured her gentle spirit. Those tiny fingers, perfect little lips, and sleepy smiles are the kinds of fleeting newborn moments I love freezing in time.
But the real star of the session—besides Lainey, of course—was big brother Brooks. He absolutely lit up the room with his proud smiles and was so gentle and loving with his new baby sister. Watching siblings bond during a newborn session is one of the greatest joys of this job, and Brooks’ snuggles were truly heart-melting.
