There’s something extra special about photographing newborns, and baby Callahan’s session was no exception. As a newborn photographer based in Dalton, GA, I get to meet so many incredible families during one of the most precious seasons of life. This little guy came in with a strong personality right from the start! He gave me a run for my money during the beginning of the session, but once we got him snug in my go-to fuzzy wrap, he settled right in and snoozed like a champ. I always say every baby has their own little rhythm, and Callahan’s was just waiting for the perfect moment to shine.
We chose a warm, earthy palette with mustard and golden tones that perfectly complemented his peaceful expressions and soft newborn features. One of the most touching parts of this session was photographing Callahan with a tiny red heart and a rainbow—symbols of the incredible love and hope that surround him. His family’s joy was palpable, and I feel so lucky to have captured it for them.
He was surrounded by a room full of people who absolutely adore him, making the entire session feel extra special. From quiet moments in the wrap to tender details of his little hands clutching that rainbow heart, every image tells a story of love and anticipation fulfilled.
